Psalm 17:12-14

¹² He is ^(A)like a lion that is eager to tear,
And as a young lion ^(B)lurking in secret places.

^13 (C)Arise, Lord, confront him, ^(D)make him bow down;
^(E)Save my soul from the wicked with ^(F)Your sword,
¹⁴ From people by ^(G)Your hand, Lord,
From people ^[a]of the world, ^(H)whose portion is in this life,
And whose belly You ^(I)fill with Your treasure;
They are satisfied with children,
And leave their abundance to their babies.
